Our story

It started over the last piece of chocolate cake

We're four lifelong friends who are all convinced we're future master chefs — forever trying to make and share our favorite recipes, and forever frustrated: cookbooks falling apart, Grandma's recipe cards going missing, and frantically screenshotting Instagram recipes before they vanish in a late-night scroll.

Then one night, while fighting over the last piece of Pam's chocolate cake, it hit us — there had to be a better way to capture and share all the amazing recipes we find. That's exactly why we built DishCapture.

— The four friends behind DishCapture Still arguing over that last slice — and wanting her recipe

There had to be a better way to share the recipes we love (and want).

Free is free — really.

We're four friends who got tired of losing the recipes we love — so we built an honest, affordable little app to store them, share them, and cook them. Not another big-corporate machine. Here's our promise: your first five recipes are free, with no credit card and no countdown. It's five recipes free — not “free for a week.” Those five are yours to keep, forever. You only pay if you decide you want more.

Got a suggestion, a question, or a recipe you'd love to see? We'd love to hear from you — email info@dishcapture.com
